Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID caseload in Odisha remained below 100 for the fifth consecutive day on Tuesday as 80 more people tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state had seen 78, 68, 86 and 83 cases on Tuesday, Monday, Sunday and Saturday, respectively.
According to the I & PR department, 45 of the new infections are from quarantine and 35 local contacts. Among them, 12 are in the 0-18 years age group. The new cases have been reported from 20 districts with only Sambalpur (13) in double digits.

With these cases being detected from 46795 samples, the test positivity rate stood at 0.17 per cent.
Odisha now has 750, against 822 the previous day.
