Bhubaneswar: While the daily COVID caseload in Odisha went past 3,000 again on Wednesday, the test positivity rate remained under 5 per cent for the second consecutive day.
The state saw 3,371 of 75,649 samples testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours. The TPR stood at 4.45 per cent. It had reported 2640 cases the previous day and a TPR of 4.14 per cent with 63695 samples sent for test.
According to the I & PR department, 1922 of the fresh infections are from quarantine and 1449 local contacts.
Among the 30 districts, Khurda reported the highest 530 cases, followed by Cuttack (468) and Balasore (258).
