Bhubaneswar: The process for the second phase of admissions in degree colleges in Odisha for the 2020-21 academic session will begin on Thursday (December 23), according to a Higher Education Department notification issued on Monday.
Here are the details:
Application Form
The common application form (CAF) will be available on the website www.samsodisha.gov.in from 11 am on December 23.
Application Deadline
Online application will be accepted till 11.45 pm on December 28.
Who Can Apply
The students who didn’t submit the CAF during Phase-I of admissions can submit fresh applications for Phase-II. They have to deposit the CAF fees online.
The students who have already taken admission during Phase-I can also apply in the Phase-II admission. However, they won’t have to deposit the CAF fees again.
Reservation & Weightage
There will be reservation in the categories of ST, SC, ESM, SDP and CoM with respect to vacancies in different colleges/ subjects.
There will be weightage for students in the categories of NCC, NSS & Ranger, Sports and Games as per the common prospectus.
However, the selection of candidates will be purely based on marks.
The students with physical disability will be given first priority irrespective of marks in all categories.
