Bhubaneswar: School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash reviewed the situation in schools in Odisha after they reopened.
“I have visited several district schools during the pandemic. I reviewed whether COVID-19 guidelines can be adhered to when these are reopened,” Dash said.
“We have reduced the syllabus by 30 per cent in schools. The authorities say that classes are being conducted in a coordinated manner and all the guidelines are being adhered to,” he added.
Notably, schools in Odisha reopened for Classes X and XII on January 8 while colleges and universities resumed for final-year students on January 11.
