Bhubaneswar: Having performed superbly for Odisha FC in front of adoring supporters at Kalinga Stadium, Amrinder Singh and S Nandhakumar will have the chance to impress home fans in the Indian jersey.
The goalkeeper and midfielder — who both played key roles in helping Odisha FC qualify for ISL playoffs for the first time and lift the Hero Super Cup – have been named by India’s head coach Igor Stimac in the final squad for the upcoming Hero Intercontinental Cup (June 9 to 18) in Bhubaneswar and SAFF Championship (June 21 to July 4) in Bengaluru.

A total of 41 players had been training at Bhubaneswar for the last two days for the back-to-back tournaments which will serve as a preparation for the AFC Asian Cup in January in Qatar.
India will face Lebanon, Vanuatu and Mongolia in the Continental Cup. In the SAFF Championship, Stimac’s men have been placed in Group A alongside Nepal, Kuwait and Pakistan, with the other group comprising Lebanon, Maldives, Bhutan and Bangladesh.
