Odisha FC has signed an MoU with Special Olympic Bharat (SOB), Odisha chapter as a part of its grassroots development programme. The club carried it from their association with Special Olympics Bharat from the Delhi Dynamos days.
The club also organised a coach education programme for 22 coaches of Special Olympic Bharat. Both theory and practical sessions were organised for the coaches. On behalf of the club, head of Football Development, Akash Narula, Grassroots Manager Sayantan Ganguly and Assistant Manager Suvam Das attended the event.
Two new coaches, Mahabir Nath and Saurav Virdi helped conduct the coach education programme.
“We are delighted to continue our association with SOB in Odisha and ensure an inclusive environment of football in the state. It’s always a humbling experience to work with the SOB students and coaches,” said Narula.
