Odisha: FICCI FLO Honours Women For Innovative & Inspiring Work
Bhubaneswar: Ten women achiever’s drawn from varied fields of expertise were honoured by Odisha chapter of FICCI FLO for their innovative and inspiring work to celebrate Women’s Day.
Attending the function as chief guest, Governor Ganeshi Lal spoke about the existence of women and their achievements, inclusive economic growth and its importance. He drew upon the spiritual power that emanates from women and cited examples from Ramayana as well as Quran.
The winners of FICCI FLO, Odisha Achievement Awards 2022 are:
Ratnamala Swain in large scale sector. The Director of DN Homes, is the first woman industrialist of Odisha in the field of real-estate.
Rajashree Khattoi, who won the award in MSME sector, is the Chairwoman of GonasikaEducation Trust, Founder of Aditya Real Estate.
Ananya Patnaik and Lita Mohapatra bagged the awards in start up category. Ananya is the founder director of Apoorva Designware Pvt Ltd. She owns a digital company ‘Ideazicon’ and is also the author of “Amplify your life’.
Lita is a medical practitioner and has worked in India and Australia.
Panchami Manoo Ukil, won the award in environment category, is an educator, environmentalist and writer. She is also the founder of the Bhubaneswar Bird walks.
Honey Patnaik was honoured in media and entertainment category. Patnaik is the Station Director at SOA radio of SOA University. She is also an impactful influencer, contributed many documentaries related to social cause.
Anushree Dash was honoured in the Social Impact category. started a NGO ADibha She Vision, which connects with rural women weavers and their earning potentials. She is also running a campaign, Green Periods with Menstural Cup with an aim to promote better life for the women and better environment.
Chandranj Murmu, who was honoured for her achievement in politics, is the youngest Indian Member of Parliament.
Pujaswini Nayak in sports. She is the most successful Odia fencer and has bagged gold and silver in Women’s Epee event.
Trinatha Goswami was presented the award in Nano Entrepreneur category. She runs a Self-Help Group which is presided over by Indulata Mahapatra. After acquiring skill training from Humara Bachpan Trust, an NGO, Trinatha sells 400 lt phenyl at CDA office and local shop.
The FLO Entrepreneur award was presented to Shyama Jha. She is the founder of Millet Magic Foundation, Hastrang, Director at MMF Farmer Producer Organisation and Partner Director at Infiniti Marketing
Solutions.
Founding Chairperson of FLO Bhubaneswar, Dharitri Patnaik expressed pride and satisfaction for all the work achieved by FLO Bhubaneswar in the 2nd successive year under the able leadership of Chairperson CS Sunita Mohanty.
FLO Chairperson, CS Sunita said 2021 was an incredible year for FLO. The chapter conducted many entrepreneurship learning and training programmes for women in all strata.
