Odisha & Former India Opener SS Das Completes NCA Level-2 Coaching Course

Bhubaneswar: Shiv Sundar Das, former international cricketer from Odisha and batting coach of Indian women’s team, has successfully completed the NCA Hybrid Level-2 Coaching Course.

He was part of Batch 1 training, conducted online by National Cricket Academy (NCA) from Feb 14 to 17, 2021. The onsite assessments were conducted from March 16 to 19, 2021, at NCA, Bengaluru.

Shiv Sundar completed the Level-2 course with 75% weightage and is now eligible to appear for NCA Level-3 coaching course, Odisha Cricket Association informed in a press release.

The 44-year-old Shiv Sundar played 23 Test matches for India, scoring 1,326 runs at an average of 34.89, with 2 centuries and 9 fifties. He also featured in 4 ODIs.

R Srikanth is currently the only Level-3 qualified coach from Odisha.
