Chhatrapur: The Odisha government has allocated 10 acre for construction of a Central School at Chhatrapur in Ganjam district.
According to sources, the land at Aryapalli Mouza under Chhatrapur tehsil will be given on lease to the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) under the Human Resource department of Government of India.
The KVS authorities have been requested to complete all the formalities required for the ‘Lease Deed’ through an authorized representative within a period of six months.
Additional Secretary of State Revenue and Disaster Management department Abhaya Kumar Nayak has sent a letter in this regards to Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC), Southern, Ganjam district Collector, Chhatrapur Sub-Collector and local tehsildar, the sources added.
The proposal for constructing a school at Chhatrapur was approved during the cabinet meeting of central government in 2019.
