Inaugurating the programme in a video conferencing at the Lok Seva Bhawan here, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said the state government has undertaken a number of welfare schemes for the mother and children. “Odisha has become a model state in the country with lowest maternal and infant mortality rate due to the sincere efforts by the WCD & Mission Shakti department,” he added.
