Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Thursday approved revision of one month’s extra pay renamed as extra duty incentive for Fire Service personnel in certain ranks.
According to a notification issued by the Home Department, bicycle allowance renamed as mobility allowance has been enhanced from the existing Rs 75 to Rs 150 a month. Besides, the special diet allowance has been enhanced from Rs 700 to Rs 900 a month.
The incentives and allowances have been revised in the rank of fireman, fireman driver, leading fireman, driver havildar and havildar mechanic, the notification added.
