Bhubaneswar: The State-Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) on Saturday approved the proposals for 10 industrial projects envisaging investment of Rs 2171.82 crore. These units will create employment potential for 5,242 persons in the State.
The proposals were approved at the 103rd meeting of the SLSWCA chaired by chief secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra, here. The projects belong to various sectors like steel, food processing, cement, chemical, renewable energy and tourism.
The committee approved the following proposals:
- A three-MTPA cement grinding unit of My Home Industries Pvt Limited (MHPL) at Badchana, Jajpur with an investment of Rs 650 crore. It will generate employment opportunities for over 750 persons.
- An expansion project of LN Metallics Limited’s existing plant with an investment of Rs 205 crore at Sripura, Jharsuguda. It will generate employment opportunities for over 571 persons.
- A riverine jetty at Udayabata in Jagatsinghpur of Arcelor Mittal Nippon Steel India Limited at a cost of Rs 150 crore with job potential for over 280 persons.
- Food processing plant of Mash Bio-Fuels Pvt Ltd with an investment of Rs 258.05 crore at Panimura, Tarabha in Sonepur district to generate employment for over 300 persons.
- A project of Vibrant Spirits Pvt Ltd at Bargarh with Rs 100 crore to generate job opportunities for over 2,250 persons.
- VCI Chemical Industries Pvt Ltd’s coal tar distillation plant at Kalinganagar in Jajpur with an investment of Rs 210 crore. It will generate employment for over 157 persons.
- Expansion of Ramco Cements Limited’s existing plant at Haridaspur in Jajpur with an investment of Rs 190 crore. It will generate employment for over 60 persons.
- Three luxury hotels in Khurda district.
