Bhubaneswar: In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Odisha government has offered a 5 per cent rebate on advance payment of the annual holding tax.
In a notification, the Housing and Urban Development Department said that the rebate will be provided if the annual holding tax for 2020-21 is paid in advance on or before August 31, 2020.
The rebate will be provided under Section 257 of the Odisha Municipal Corporation (OMC) Act, 2003, the notification added.
