Bhubaneswar: Hours after the tragic bus mishap in Ganjam district, the Odisha government on Wednesday ordered a probe into the incident.
Seven passengers were killed and over 40 passengers injured after the bus fell off a ghat road early this morning.
Briefing mediapersons in Bhubaneswar, Commerce and Transport Minister Padmanabha Behera said a special team will be formed to probe into the mishap. The Regional Transport Officer (RTO) and the Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI) would verify the documents of the vehicle.
Preliminary report suggest that the bus driver might have lost sight of the road due to the dense fog, the Minister said when asked about the possible cause of the accident.
