Bhubaneswar The Odisha government has launched ‘Tiki Mausi Kuhe’ comics on COVID appropriate nutrition.
The complementary feeding campaign was launched in presence of Women and Child Development Minister Tukuni Sahu on Monday.
This assumes significance against the backdrop of the second COVID wave which saw an increased rate of infection among the youngest segment.
‘Tiki Mausi’ is the mode through which the government hopes to reach out to the community, particularly to women, adolescent girls and children, effectively and sensitise them about the schemes and programmes of the state.
She will also talk about breastfeeding, complementary feeding, nutrition and care during pregnancy, nutrition for adolescents and growth monitoring of children and identification of Severe Acute Malnutrition, official sources said.
