Bhubaneswar: Odisha government has shifted four IAS officers and appointed them in different positions.
According to a notification of General administration and Public Grievance department on Friday, Samanth Verma, additional chief administrator, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration, Puri and in-charge of Chief Administrator SJTA, with the additional charge of Additional Secretary, Works Department has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Works Department.
Cuttack Collector Vineet Bhardwaj has been appointed as Director-cum-Additional Secretary, Drinking Water & Sanitation, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department.
Parul Patawari, Jagatsinghpur Collector, has been appointed as Project Director, Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA), Bhubaneswar. The post has been declared equivalent to the post of Joint Secretary.
Dr Subhankar Mohapatra has been appointed as Director, Rural Development. The post is equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Deputy Secretary.
Earlier on the day, the government had appointed Arindam Dakua, Director-cum-Additional Secretary of Drinking Water & Sanitation with additional charge of State Mission Director of Odisha Livelihoods Mission, as Cuttack Collector and Anupam Saha, Project Director, OSEPA with additional charge of Member Sectary, Mo School & Labour Commissioner Odisha, as Jagatsinghpur Collector.
