Odisha Govt To Look Into ‘Irregularities’ In OSSSC Test For RI & Amin Recruitment, Says Minister

Bhubaneswar: In order to maintain transparency in recruitment process for its jobs, the Odisha government has sought a report from Revenue department on alleged irregularities in the test conducted by OSSSC for RI, ARI, Amin posts.

Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari said he had received complaints from some candidates for the posts stating that there were irregularities in the test process for the posts. He had apprised Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi regarding the complaints and directed his department to look into the matter and submit a report, he added.

The Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) recently conducted the examinations for recruitment to the posts. The Commission had outsourced the online test to a private agency.

The aspirants complained to the minister that the private agency was earlier blacklisted for irregularities. Besides, the tests were conducted in cybercafes and cement godowns in some places which gave rise to scope for tampering the process, they added.
