Berhampur: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday launched the smart health cards distribution programme under Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) in Ganjam district.
Around 26 lakh people of Ganjam district will benefit from the scheme. Under the scheme, each family can avail treatment benefits up to Rs 5 lakh per annum and in case of women family members, the limit is Rs 10 lakh.
During the visit, Naveen also inaugurated 651 projects worth ₹ 570.97 crore and laid the foundation stones for 645 projects worth ₹ 1582.94 crore. The projects include water supply, bridge & road, drainage, education, among others.
