Odisha Inches Towards 1600-Mark With Four New Corona Cases In Sonepur

Sonepur: Four more corona positive cases have been detected in Sonepur district, taking the affected tally in Odisha to 1597.

Collector Monisha Banerjee tweeted to inform that two cases have been reported from Sonepur block and one each from Tarbha and Dunguripali blocks.

Asking people not to panic, the collector said that these persons were staying in quarantine centres. They are being shifted to COVID-19 Health Centre, she added.

Sonepur had reported its maiden case on May 25. The person was a Ahmedabad returnee and lodged at a temporary medical camp.
