Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has invited online applications for recruitment to 1065 posts of lecturers (Direct Payment Posts) in different subjects in non-government aided colleges in the state.
According to the official notification issued by State Selection Board of Higher Education Department, the window for online registration and payment of examination fee opened at 1 pm on Monday (September 11) and close at 11.45 on October 13. Candidates are required to apply online through www.ssbodisha.ac.in. No other means/mode of submission of applications will be accepted, it said.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
A candidate should possess a Master’s Degree in the subject concerned from a recognised university with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade on the date of application. For Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, SEBC and/or PwD candidate, the score in Master’s Degree in the subject is 50% .
AGE LIMIT
Prospective candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 42 years as of September 1, 2023, – she/he must not have been born earlier than September 2, 1981, and later than September 1, 2002.
SELECTION PROCEDURE
A candidate will be selected on the basis of written test, career and viva-voce test taken together. The distribution of marks is as follows – Career assessment (25 marks), written (150 marks) and viva-voce (25 marks).
EXAMINATION ZONES
The written examination will be conducted in Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Balangir, Cuttack, Jeypore and Sambalpur zones depending upon the number of candidates from the respective zones. In case sufficient numbers of candidates are not available for any of the zones, the candidates opting for those zones would be accommodated in the nearest zone. Request for change of zone shall not be entertained.

Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400 as per the ORSP rules, 2017, plus the usual DA as admissible for the teachers of non-government aided colleges in Odisha.
