Bhubaneswar: Senior IPS officer Jai Narayan Pankaj has been given additional charge of DIG, Central Range.
According to a Home Department notification, the 2005-batch officer will remain in charge of the new assignment in addition to his present DIG, Special Task Force (STF), post until further orders.
The post of the DIG, Central Range, fell vacant following the transfer and posting of Ashish Kumar Singh as the Excise Commissioner.
