Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Joint Entrance Exam (OJEE) 2020 will be conducted online through computer-based test (CBT) mode in the first week of May this year, informed OJEE Chairman Sudeep Kumar Chand on Friday.
The decision was taken at the Apex Committee Meeting.
“It is proposed to conduct OJEE 2020 only by CBT for all courses including B Pharma, lateral entry to B. Pharma, Int. MBA, lateral entry to B.Tech ( for diploma qualified students), lateral entry to B.Tech (for Bsc qualified students), MCA, lateral entry to MCA, MBA, M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Plan, and M.Pharma courses,” the official notification read.
Unlike 2019 when CBT was conducted for only postgraduate courses – MCA, MBA, M.Tech, M.Pharma, M.Plan, M. Arch and lateral entry MCA, Chand said the exam will be conducted in this mode for all courses this year and the dates will be announced soon.
“Special provision of mock test will be made for the students on the official website,” he said.
The decision will help in early publication of results and maintaining transparency, he added.
