Bhubaneswar: Special Judge (Vigilance), Angul, on Friday sentenced Pankajini Biswal, a junior clerk of Tehsil office, to 3 years of rigorous imprisonment.
She was found guilty of demanding and accepting bribe to process file in two mutation cases for issuing Record of Rights (Patta) in 2017.
The court also slapped a fine of Rs 5,000 on her and in case of default, she has to spend two more months in jail.
