Bhubaneswar: In a first, students, who have cleared the Class X (matric) examinations, can download digital certificates from 4 pm on Sunday.
Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, will make the digitised certificate of all examinations, including the AHSC, Madhyama and State Open School Certificate (SOSC), available on its website www.bseodisha.ac.in. Students can also get it through WhatsApp.
To get the BSE Odisha Class X result certificate through WhatsApp, the students will have to send a “ BSE / Hi” WhatsApp message to 7710058192 and thereafter follow the instructions as per the messages received.
According to the BSE Odisha, the board result link is active since 11:30 am at bseodisha.ac.in. Students, who do not have access to internet, can also get the results via SMS to 5676750 by typing OR10 < Roll No >. Heads of the secondary schools were given access to download the Tabulation Register (TR) of their schools from 12:30 pm onwards by entering their user ID and password.
The overall pass percentage in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination is 96.07 per cent. As many 5,41,061 students appeared for the Class 10 exam of which 5,30,153 passed. 96.73% girl cleared the exam against 95.39% boys.
A total of 2,644 schools have received 100 per cent results this time. Khurda district topped with 97.98 per cent results followed by Bargarh at 97.64 per cent, Jagatsinghpur at 97.6 per cent and Cuttack at 97.58 per cent with Nuapada recording the lowest pass percentage of 93.91. All 30 districts of Odisha registered a pass percentage of above 90.
The pass rate of SOSC examination is 59.88 per cent while 98.12 per cent cleared the Madhyama examination.
Students can apply online for re-checking between May 29 and June 12. They can apply online for the supplementary exams and SOSC (second) exam from June 10.
