Odisha Likely To Hold Plus II Exam In March, Says Council

Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) will conduct the annual higher secondary exam (AHSE)-2022 tentatively in March next year, the council informed on Monday.

All higher secondary schools have been asked by the council to complete the Class XII third quarterly test by January 10 and be prepared to upload marks of the quarterly assessments.

The Council has shot a letter to the principals and underlined that on completing the first two quarter-end tests, the third quarter-end exam for Class XII students will be held in various time slots.

However, the test should be completed within the given deadline and the marks of all the three quarter tests must be kept ready in the tabulation register, the council wrote.

It may be recalled that the council introduced the quarterly assessment system in Plus II for the current (2021-22) academic year. This came after the CHSE faced issues in working out alternative evaluation criteria for the AHSE-2021 which was called off due to the second wave of COVID-19.

“The links to upload quarter-end marks of students will be sent to the schools soon,” the officials were quoted as saying by The New Indian Express.
