Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has allowed movement of staff in IT/lTeS, Banking services and other private sectors engaged in essential activities during ongoing lockdown in the state.
There is no requirement of pass to move within restrictions mentioned in state guidelines. However, the company/organization has to issue authorizations to individual employees which they have to show at police checkpoints.
To facilitate this, a system has been developed to issue e-permission to exempted sectors within restrictions of allowable percentage of employees during lockdown for IT/lTes/Private companies of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack only, within Commissionerate Police jurisdiction.
The tool has been developed by Quocent Pvt. Ltd, in collaboration with Commissionerate Police Bhubaneswar-Cuttack.
A Commissionerate Police press release stated that the e-permission can be generated by visiting the website https//cp.erp.quocent.com/
A copy will automatically reach offices of DCPs. There is no need for further stamping/receipt acknowledgement.
The e-permission should be carried along with ID card. However, if e-permission has not been generated, then the company/organization-issued authorization letter has to be carried along with ID proof and a copy must be emailed to DCP office.
For others like shopkeepers/salespersons/workers etc. who have been permitted as per guidelines, they can show ID card and letter of employer or shop trading license or any document to establish that they belong to permitted category.
