Bhubaneswar: Odisha continued to log more than 1,000 daily COVID-19 cases with 1,178 fresh infections recorded in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 7,245.
Among the fresh cases, 146 are in the 0-18 age group. According to the I&PR Department, 690 cases are from quarantine and 488 cases from local contacts.
Khurda district recorded the highest 252 cases followed by Sundargarh (194), Sambalpur (111) and Cuttack (104). Here’s the district-wise tally of cases:
