Berhampur: Panchu Bhuyan of Banthapalli village under Digapahandi police limits in Odisha’s Ganjam sustained critical injuries after being attacked by eight miscreants on Sunday.
He was rushed to MKCG Medical College and Hospital, here where his condition is stated to be serious.
Panchu sustained multiple injuries on 28 places on his body, said the doctors who are attending him.
As per sources, he was attacked by a group of villagers while he going to a canal for a bath.
Old enmity is suspected to be the reason behind the attack, police said.
