Bhubaneswar: The timetable for Matric Summative Assessment-II, scheduled to be held between March 10 and March 20, has been released by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha.
Timetable
March 10 – First Language (Odia/Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Telugu/Alt. English)
March 13 – Second Language (English/Hindi), Environment & Population (only for hearing impaired candidates)
March 14 – Third Language (Hindi/Odia/Persian/Sanskrit)
March 16 – General Science
March 18 – Social Science
March 20 – Mathematics
The exam will be held from 8 am to 10 pm on the scheduled dates and each subject, excluding TLV (meant for only hearing-impaired candidates) and vocational trade, will have subjective questions of 30 marks and objective questions of 50 marks. Additional 15 minutes will be given to the Mathematics paper.
The examinees will have to write the answers to all the objective and subjective questions on the OMR and attached answer sheet.
The vocational trade will carry 20 marks questions and TLV paper 20 marks questions. The 50-mark-practical examination of vocational trade will be held in respective schools from February 15 to February 28 under the supervision of OSEPA. The TLV practical examination will be held for 60 marks.
“The Matric examination is being conducted in the summative process this year. A decision on whether the process will be adopted for next year’s annual examination will be taken later,” School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash said.
