Cuttack: The Matric Offline Improvement examination in Odisha concluded on Thursday.
Talking to mediapersons, Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Ramashis Hazra president said the evaluation of the examination papers will begin at nine centres from August 12 and the results will be announced within a week.
Referring to the irregularities in conducting the offline examination at Board High School in Cuttack, where the students were given 2014 question papers for ex-regular students, he said that the school authorities rectified the mistakes and allowed students an hour extra to the students for answering the questions.
It may be mentioned here that the School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Wednesday had directed the principal secretary of his department to probe into the goof-up and submit a report within a week.
