Odisha Matric Results Out, Pass Rate 96.07% As Girls Outshine Boys

Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha announced the Class 10 matriculation examination results on Sunday.

While announcing the results, BSE President Srikant Tarei said that overall pass rate of students stood at 96.07 per cent.

Over 5.41 lakh regular students had appeared in the matriculation or the class 10 board examination in the state this year.

Congratulating the students for clearing the matriculation examination with flying colours, Tarei said that girls have outperformed the boys in the matric exam. The girl students with pass rate of 96.73 per cent outperformed boys whose pass rate was 95.39%.

The unsuccessful students can apply for rechecking from May 29. The registration for the supplementary examination will start from June 10, 2024.

The students can check their matric results from the official website of the Board – www.bseOdisha.ac.in.

The students, who do not have internet facility, can also know their results by sending SMS. For this, they have to type OR10 (Space) Roll Number and send to 5676750.

For the first time, the students will be able to get digital certificates within six hours of publication of the matriculation results online and through WhatsApp. The students need to type- BSE/Hi and send a message on the WhatsApp number 7710058192, sources said.

While 5,41,061 students had appeared in the matric examination, 5,30,153 of them have passed. A total of 2,644 schools have received 100 per cent results this time. Khurda district topped with 97.98 per cent results followed by Bargarh at 97.64 per cent, Jagatsinghpur at 97.6 per cent and Cuttack at 97.58 per cent with Nuapada recording the lowest pass percentage of 93.91. All 30 districts of Odisha registered a pass percentage of above 90, the sources added.
