Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government is most likely to hike the price of OMFED (Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation) milk, Agriculture Minister Arun Kumar Sahu said on Tuesday.
The minister said as the private milk-producing companies in the state have hiked the price of milk, the government is most likely to take a decision in this regard.
“While OMFED has given a proposal for a hike, the government is considering a price that will suit both the consumers and milk farmers,” he added.
