Nayagarh: Three persons were killed on the spot after two motorcycles collided head on in Sharanakula area in Nayagarh district on Friday morning. Two others were critically injured in the road mishap.
The deceased were identified as Manu Nayak and Krushna Chandra Nayak of Jagannathpur village and Shyama Sundar Sethi of Patharakata village in the district.
According to sources, the two injured were riding pillion on the ill-fated bikes.
Police have sent the injured to a hospital and sent the bodies of the deceased for post-mortem.
Notably, six people were killed after being hit by a Hyva at Sharanakula area some months ago.
