Bhubaneswar: With the fever of Valentine’s Day gripping the people, irrespective of age, social status and profession around the world, senior Congress MLA Taraprasad Bahinipati also joined the celebration of love.
The 67-year-old legislator from Koraput took his Twitter handle to express his love for his wife Minakshi. Known for his open and forthright comments on various subjects, Bahinipati penned a romantic sentence in praise of his life partner in the tweet.
“You made me realise that my life without you would be like a night sky without stars, dark and empty,” wrote the flamboyant leader in his Twitter message. It also carried a picture of Bahinipati and his wife superimposed on the symbol of love.
The message was written on a greeting card format having background colour of pink and dotted with symbols of love. The card had “Happy Valentine’s Day” written at the top and “Thanks for being my Valentine” at the bottom.
