Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has decided to launch cruise services to boost the state’s tourism sector.
As per a plan, the Tourism Department will introduce daytime cruise services in Chilika Lake, Hirakud reservoir, Mahanadi, Satkosia gorge (Mahanadi) and Bhitarkanika (Brahmani and Baitarani rivers).
The department has invited tenders from private cruise agencies by July 10.
