Balangir: A joint team of sleuths from the Bargarh, Sonepur and Balangir Vigilance wings on Friday caught the additional tehsildar of Deogan block, Rajendra Choudhury, red-handed while he was receiving a bribe of Rs 20,000 from a person to get a transit pass for inter-district transport of sand.
Till reports last came in, the Vigilance sleuths conducted simultaneous raids on Choudhury’s office and residence.
