Berhampur: To prevent public gatherings in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, the Ganjam district administration has decided to enforce prohibitory orders under Section 144 of CrPC.
The decision, which restricts gathering of more than five persons at a single place, is aimed at containing the spread of the deadly virus.
Besides, leaves of all government employees in the district have been cancelled.
Similarly, the Rayagada district administration has also cancelled leaves of all government employees and asked them to remain present at their headquarters until further orders.
