Berhampur: in view of the sudden surge in COVID-19 cases in Odisha, the Ganjam district administration discussed neasures to contain the virus at an emergency meeting on Monday.
Talking to the media after the meeting, Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange said COVID-19 guidelines such as wearing of masks and maintaining social distance will be strictly enforced in the district.
Besides, special focus will be on the people returning from hotspot areas in other states, the collector added.
“A person coming from a hotspot area in another state will have to produce an RT-PCR test report. The RT-PCR test certificate will also be mandatory for a person with symptomatic condition wants to come to Ganjam.
