In the mixed doubles final, India’s M R Arjun and Treesa Jolly lost 16-21, 20-22 to Sri Lankan duo Sachin Dias and Thilini Hendadahewa. The match lasted 36 minutes.

In the women’s doubles, Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand, daughter of former All England Open champion and Indian badminton legend Pullela Gopichand, beat Sanyogita Ghorpade and Shruti Mishra 21-12, 21-10 in the final to claim the title.

In the men’s doubles final, Indian combination of PS Ravikrishna and Udayakumar Shankar Prasad could not build on their first game heroics and went down 18-21, 21-14, 21-16 against Malaysia’s Nur Mohd Azriyn and Khim Wah Lim.

Unnati entered the final after a surprise 24-22, 24-22 victory over Indian Open finalist Malvika Bansod on Saturday.
