Bhubaneswar: The first cutoff list for admission of students to various streams in Plus II colleges across Odisha for the 2022-23 academic session was released on Wednesday.
Like previous year, Ravenshaw Higher Secondary School, Cuttack, Nilakantha Nagar Saraswati Sisu Mandir in Berhampur, BJB Higher Secondary School, Bhubaneswar and Government Higher Secondary School, Rourkela, continue to remain the most sought-after schools.
According to cutoff marks uploaded in the Students Academic Management System (SAMS) portal, Ravenshaw Higher Secondary School, Cuttack, posted the highest cut-off percentage of 94. 33 in Science and 84.17 in Commerce stream. Nilakantha Nagar Saraswati Sisu Mandir in Berhampur has emerged as a favourite school with a cut-off percentage of 93.20 in the Science stream followed by BJB Higher Secondary School at 93.
Government Higher Secondary School, Rourkela, and BJB Higher Secondary School have the second and third highest cut-off percentage of 80.67 and 79.83, respectively in Commerce.
Kandakhai Higher Secondary School in Puri topped in Arts with a cutoff percentage of 83.50 followed by Ravenshaw Higher Secondary School (83.33) and Narasinghpur College, Cuttack (83.17).
The applicants selected in the first round will have to enrol from August 19-25 (6pm).

Around 2,000 higher secondary schools are taking part in the admission process this year, which began on July 20.
