Bhubaneswar: For Plus II students to pursue studies at home in view of the COVID-19 pandemic, Directorate of Higher Secondary Education in Odisha started Science and Commerce classes on the Doordarshan TV on Thursday.
As notified by the Directorate, Chemistry classes will be held on September 17 and 18, Mathematics on September 21, 22, 24 and 25 and Commerce on September 23.
Apart from this, the videos of these classes will also be available on the YouTube channel of Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) and the Doordarshan.
The duration of the classes will be one hour — 10 am to 11 am.
To clear doubts on the subjects, the students can contact the concerned teachers through the WhatsApp Group formed under the Odisha Siksha Sanjog Programme.
The next schedule of classes will be notified after September 25.
The Directorate has directed the principals of the Higher Secondary Schools/Junior Colleges to intimate students about the timing of the classes.
