Odisha Records Highest Single-Day Recovery From COVID-19

Bhubaneswar: Odisha registered the highest single-day recoveries from COVID-19 as 643 patients recuperated from the disease on Thursday.

According to the Health and Family Welfare department, of the recovered cases on the day, maximum 407 were reported from Ganjam district followed by 44 from Khurda, 31 from Balasore, 28 from Mayurbhanj, 27 from Cuttack, 15 from Jagatsinghpur, 14 each from Baragarh and Kandhamal, 11 each from Dhenkanal and Keonjhar

The recovered cases from other districts are as follow:
8 from Bhadrak
6 from Gajapati
5 each from Balangir and Jharsuguda
4 each from Jajpur and Sundargarh
3 each from Kendrapara and Koraput
2 from Sambalpur
1 from Angul.
With today’s figure, the total number of recovered cases in the state now stands at 14392. A record 1,264 COVID-19 cases were reported in Odisha in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 21,099.
