Bhubaneswar: Here is some good news from the Health and Family Welfare (H&FW) department. Odisha has registered zero COVID-19 deaths in the last one week, shared the HFW department.
In a tweet, the H&FW department stated that effective awareness campaigns & unwavering commitment of Covid warriors ensured zero COVID-19 deaths in Odisha during last week.
The case fatality ratio stands at 0.56% – one of the lowest in country – the State has set a new benchmark in curbing coronavirus, the department added.

The total active cases in the state now stands at 1,013 and recovered cases at 3,32,239.
The state has suspended Covid-19 vaccination process for two days in view of the ongoing pulse polio immunisation programme. The immunisation programme will resume on February 3.
