Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID caseload in Odisha dropped to 195 on Thursday against 255 the previous day.
The state had reported 151 new cases on Tuesday, 105 on Monday, 189 on Sunday and 193 cases on Saturday.
According to the I & PR department, 115 of the new infections are from quarantine and 80 local contacts. As many as 24 among them are in the age group of 0-18 years.
Khurda reported the highest of 99 new cases, followed by Mayurbhanj at 13. While 14 districts have reported new cases in single-digit, it is nil for 12 districts.

Besides, 23 are from the state pool.
With these cases being detected from 61,899 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.31%.
While the affected tally has touched 10,50,955, Odisha now has 2,071 active cases.
