Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 290 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours, the I&PR Department informed on Sunday.
Among the new cases reported from 22 districts, 171 are from quarantine and 119 are local contact cases.
Notably, the state had crossed the 200-mark after a gap of almost two months on Thursday after 214 people tested positive for the virus.
According to the I&PR Department, Khurda district has reported the highest of 71 cases followed by Nuapada (40), Jharsuguda (21) and Cuttack (16).

With this, Odisha now has 1,650 active cases.
The total positive cases in the state now stands at 340194 and the recovered cases at 336571.
