Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 33 more COVID-19 deaths in the last 24 hours, which pushed the toll to 2651 on Friday.
According to the Health Department, the highest of five fatalities have been reported from Angul, followed by Sundargarh (4), three each from Kalahandi, Khurda, Keonjhar and Boudh, two each from Rayagada, Gajapati, Jharsuguda, Kendrapada and Koraput and one each from Dhenkanal and Nabarangpur. While the youngest among them is a 22-year-old youth from Angul, 25 of the deceased have no comorbidities.
The deceased have been identified as:
- A 22 years old male of Angul district.
- A 58 years old female of Angul district.
- A 26 years old female of Angul district.
- A 73 years old male of Angul district.
- A 80 years old male of Angul district.
- A 48 years old female of Boudh district.
- A 37 years old female of Boudh district.
- A 26 years old male of Boudh district.
- A 46 years old male of Bhubaneswar.
- A 83 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Hypothyroidsim.
- A 56 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension.
- A 47 years old male of Dhenkanal district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
- A 38 years old male of Gajapati district.
- A 58 years old male of Gajapati district.
- A 55 years old female of Jharsuguda district.
- A 32 years old male of Jharsuguda district.
- A 83 years old male of Kalahandi district.
- A 44 years old female of Kalahandi district.
- A 55 years old male of Kalahandi district.
- A 66 years old male of Keonjhar district.
- A 52 years old male of Keonjhar district.
- A 64 years old male of Keonjhar district.
- A 65 years old female of Kendrapada district.
- A 72 years old male of Kendrapara district.
- A 28 years old female of Koraput district.
- A 45 years old male of Koraput district who was also suffering from Hypertension.
- A 55 years old male of Nabarangapur district.
- A 50 years old female of Rayagada district.
- A 55 years old male of Rayagada district.
- A 50 years old male of Sundargarh district.
- A 48 years old male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Chronic Renal Failure.
- A 58 years old female of Sundargarh district.
- A 38 years old female of Sundargarh district.
The state has been reporting over 30 fatalities on almost all days since May 24.
