Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported five COVID-19 deaths for the second consecutive day on Wednesday.
According to the Health Department, two patients of Nuapada district and one each from Cuttack, Muyurbhanj and Sundargarh have succumbed to the infection in the last 24 hours.
Nuapada had reported three deaths the previous day.
The deceased have been identified as:
1.A 73 years old female of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Diabetic Mellitus, Hypertension & Hypothyroidism.
2.A 55 years old man of Mayurbhanja who was also suffering from Hypertension.
3.A 66 years old man of Nuapada district who was also suffering from Diabetic Mellitus.
4.A 55 years old male of Nuapada district.
5.A 40 years old female of Sundargarh district.
