Bhubaneswar: The active cases in Odisha touched 8,088 on Friday with an overnight addition of 757 new COVID-19 infections.
With this, the affected tally in the state has gone up to 3,12,545.
The new cases have been detected in 29 districts. While 436 are quarantine, the remaining 321 are local contact cases, the Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department informed on Friday.
Angul recorded the highest of 75 fresh cases followed by Khurda (70) and Cuttack (67).
