Bhubaneswar: The active cases in Odisha touched 8,088 on Friday with an overnight addition of 757 new COVID-19 infections.
With this, the affected tally in the state has gone up to 3,12,545.
The new cases have been detected in 29 districts
. While 436 are quarantine, the remaining 321 are local contact cases, the Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department informed on Friday.
Angul recorded the highest of 75 fresh cases followed by Khurda (70) and Cuttack (67).
