Odisha Reports Less Than 1000 New COVID-19 Cases For 2nd Time In 2 Days After July
Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID-19 caseload in Odisha dropped below 1,000 for the second time in two days, with 986 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
After a gap of more than three months, the state had seen 987 new cases on November 11. Odisha had last reported less than 1,000 cases on July 20.
Meanwhile, the new infections pushed the affected tally to 3,05,986 on Thursday.
According to I & PR department, 572 are quarantine and 414 local contact cases.
Khurda reported the highest 112 fresh cases followed by Cuttack (81) and Sundargarh (80).

With 2,92,477 recoveries, the number of active cases in the state now stands at 11,973.
